Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) and the Sindh Judicial Academy (SJA) is signed on March 28, 2017. Mr. Muhammad Masood Khan, Director General KPJA and Mr. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Director General of Sindh Judicial Academy signed the MoU to share views and experiences that would help in creating better cooperation and collaboration amongst the judicial academies in the country and improve the quality of judicial training in the country.
The Academies are agreed to cooperate with each other in the following areas to:

  • focus on equipping the academies with imparting applied knowledge and right procedure in a way that makes their input and output more effective;
  • stress on practical side of knowledge/training;
  • develop a uniform general training program and a road-map for every tier of judicial service;
  • develop uniform modules for promotion of judicial officers and court staff conditional on previous trainings;
  • inculcate knowledge, skill and attitude through modern techniques of learning;
  • focus on identifying environment and practical issues faced by judicial officers in the country in their judicial work;
  • exchange training program, modules and trainees to encourage integration;
  • _____initiate joint efforts in drafting research proposals and applying grants to National and International forums;
  • interact and exchange faculty members, researchers and experts for research, teaching and exchange of ideas; and
  • provide opportunities for faculty members and trainees to participate in conferences, symposia and workshops of both the institutions.
